About Finesse

Finesse is our Pride and Joy. She is a wonderful example of a female berner. Nessie's loving, sweet temperament, desire to work hard, and wonderful structure combined, is something that is hard to find. She is a bundle of energy who loves to jump. She easily finished her Championship in 4 show weekends and has won many awards such as Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at the 2004 Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada Specialty, rated Excellent at the 2004 National Specialty Sieger show, Best Brood Bitch BMDCC Specialty 2006, and multiple group placements in the show ring. Finesse also produced Aretha (Borealbreeze A Little Respect) who was Best Puppy in Specialty at the BMDCC National in 2006. We would like to thank Heather & Matheo Durfeld for breeding her and entrusting her to us. We would also love to thank Melodie Grabner of Bernecho Kennels for not only producing her dad, Munster, but picking out our 'Cigar Girl' from so many girls in the litter. Mel, you made the right choice

Finesse is not only a pretty face, but excels in obedience and agility and is working on her drafting. In May 2006 she competed in some local UKC obedience trials and earned her U-CD with 4 qualifying scores in 4 trials and was awarded the High Aggregate combined title for having the highest score from all 4 trials combined. In June 2006 she earned her Draft Dog title at the National Specialty under some pretty unique circumstances, and also picked up 2 legs towards her CKC CD title at the Yukon Kennel Club shows. Finesse completed her CD title at the 2007 Yukon Kennel Club shows to earn the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada Versatility Dog award!!
