Gidget comes to us from Vom Gipfelfeuer kennel in Belgium.  We were very excited when her breeder Jeroen told us about his planned breeding between Seppe and Drigana.  There is great type, health and longevity in this pedigree and not to mention the lovely temperaments!
Gidget's great great grandmother lived to almost 14 years old and I felt blessed to have been able to meet Tessa in person when I went to pick up Gidget.  Much thanks to Jeroen Van Weymeersch for allowing me to bring this beautiful girl home with me.  She is charming and such a clown and makes us laugh every day!  Everyone LOVES Gidget!!  She is much loved member of our family, a great ambassador for the breed and an asset to our breeding program.  Gidget has a good strong body and head type and clean movement.  She has been shown selectively in 2008 and easily picked up 3 majors and all the points required to complete her American Championship in only 3 weekends, as well as finishing her Canadian Championship.
Gidget returned to the ring with a BANG in 2011, tried her hand at Rally and earned her CKC Rally Novice title with two High in Class awards. She also earned her AKC Grand Championship title in just 3 weekends of showing, taking a couple Best of Breeds, a Group 4 placement, and Best Opposite Sex at the Alaskan Regional under Breeder Judge Sharon Smith.
Three of the 4 kids from her first litter are now AKC Champions, and her singleton boy Borealbreeze's Edelweiss also finished his CH in 2011, making her a BMDCA Top Producer of Champions.  We are very proud of Gidget and her wonderful kids.  Thanks to their owners for making this happen!!

Gidget came out as a veteran in 2014, a cancer survivor and won Best Veteran in Sieger, and Best in Sieger, as well as Best Veteran in Sweeps at the Canadian National Specialty, and also Best Veteran in Sweeps, Best Veteran in Specialty and an Award of Merit at the Ontario Regional that year. She was just an amazing dog. Sadly, she developed some spondylosis in her 9th year which advanced quickly and we lost her at 9.5 years old. We miss her terribly but she leaves a beautiful legacy in her kids, grandkids and great grandkids here at Borealbreeze.
